This is a wonderful year for the garden! There is fruit on the tomatoes, not ripe yet, but soon. They usually start around the end of July. Beans look better than they have in years! We have this beautiful heirloom variety (mixed in with our favorite Blue Lakes) that has purple blossoms and the beans themselves are edged with purple. The July figs are nearly finished, but there's a big crop working for September. Peaches are just beginning and are absolutely delicious, as always. Basil, oregano, dill, sage, rosemary all producing well. Coming up we have Padrone peppers, summer squash (we've had a few) and we have a large crop of olives on our little trees.
