$30.00 We have a Stainless steel hopper, crank style stemmer crusher for rent to other wine makers at $30 a day. It does a superb job and is easy to use. The crank actually produces a 4 to 1 gear ratio, so very *easy* crank turning will pull the grapes into and through the machine.   We've used different types of stemmer/crushers in the past... including the 1/2 horsepower electric Zambelli Cantinetta. This crusher's *SAFETY* and Simplicity make it really superior.  We have put 2 Macrobins (one ton) of grapes through it... in about 3 1/2 hours. You will take more time moving the grapes to your fermenters than you will running them through this Italian stemmer/crusher. The Stainless hopper is the perfect size for it's roller and crank capacity. (The extended hoppers on the electric models are only useful because there is a motor connected to screw feed). The machine is exactingly cleaned and perfectly maintained.  Instructions for use are easy and provided. We also know a few tricks to improve spped and capacity. It removes stems *PERFECTLY* leaving almost no jacks at all, just a small handful per ton of grapes.  We like meeting other wine makers... winemaking runs in the family. $30 a day for a superb stemmer/crusher, and the lasting memory of having the right tool *at* the right price.
